Day 4 : 90 Day Turn Around

I don't know about you guys, but Day 3's challenge was much easier than the day before. I only had to squat a couple of times today, and most importantly my mindset seemed to change before I even had to drop into position. Leave me a comment below to let me know which day has been the most challenging/rewarding thus far.

Day 4
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. (Luke 6:45 KJV)
I love reading other versions of the bible. While the King James Version (KJV) is as close as we can get in English, sometimes other versions have a beautiful way of saying the same thing. For example the amplified version (AMP) of that same verse goes: "The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart."
The reason we are using this scripture today is because it’s very important. If you rewind just two scriptures back and read what Jesus was saying in the book of Luke he uses fruits and trees as a metaphor for us. “For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. 44 For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit. For figs are not picked from thorn bushes, nor is a cluster of grapes picked from a briar bush. (Luke 6:43-44 AMP)
Today’s challenge is broken down into two parts. The first part is simple to reflect on the last couple of days of your life. What kind of fruit did you bear? Were you a reflection of that successful, confident, loving, caring, God fearing, and prosperous woman that God created you to be? If not, that’s the beautiful thing about the love of our Father! All we have to do is repent, and make a conscience effort to do better.  As Jesus said, “For the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” The second part of your challenge, is to ponder on what you say today before you say it. James 1:19 tells us, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of a man worketh not the righteousness of God.” (In English, God can’t work with our slick mouth or pettiness  ...If you grunt like I did, drop and give me 10! Like you guys, I’m still working on it lol.)
Remember those old bracelets back in the day that people used to try to live by W.W.J.D (What would Jesus do?) Well in a nutshell, that’s what the challenge is today. Realize any areas of growth from the last couple of days, and before you speak or get angry today (and for the duration of your 90 day challenge) ask yourself: What would Jesus do?
